Notice of the Filing of the Application under the U.S. Department of Labor’s Permanent Labor Certification Program

This notice is being provided as a result of the filing of an Application for Permanent Employment Certification (ETA Form 9089). The employer intends to permanently employ a foreign national in the job opportunity described below. This Notice of Filing will be posted for 10 consecutive business days, ending between 30 and 180 days before filing the permanent labor certification application.

Position Title: Medical Technologist

Position Duties: Perform a full range of routine laboratory tests and procedures in areas such as hematology, clinical chemistry, serology, coagulation, and microscopy, in order to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases; observe, monitor, record, interpret and report results on tests performed with accuracy; operate and maintain instruments and equipment; train and supervise students rotating through the clinical laboratory program.

Rate of Pay: $22.00 per hour

The employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage, as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science
  • 2 years of experience as Medical Technologist
  • Must be certified by AMT or ASCP
