Receptionist

Greeter for the facility, “First Impression” (on the phone and in person) representation for the entire facility. To assist the nurses and providers and act as intermediary in assisting patient needs and answering their phone calls in a timely and efficient manner.

Registered Nurse

Plan, organize, direct, provide and evaluate care needed to maintain safety and improve the health and well being of patients through the implementation of the nursing process. Provides oversight for all nursing care processes provided by other members of the nursing staff. Serve as patient advocate and be actively involved in the care of the patient and support of family members. Communicate effectively for continuity of care among patients, families, ancillary personnel and hospital departments.

Medical Technologist/ Medical Laboratory Technologist

Performs a full range of laboratory tests. Knowledgeable of laboratory policy and procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analysis, reporting and maintaining records of patient test results. Phlebotomy skills preferred but not required. Bachelor's Degree or Associate in Applied Sciences with an emphasis in Medical Technology. Must also be registered by a national registry (AMT, ASCP).

Phlebotomist - Lab Assistant

Coleman County Medical Center is currently seeking a Phlebotomist. This individual will perform venipuncture, capillary punctures, and collection of other specimens as required to assure that the most proper and valid specimen is used for testing. Operates and maintains laboratory equipment according to policy and procedure. Performs clerical duties to assure that all patient and laboratory records are maintained according to laboratory policies and procedures.

Housekeeper

Assuring the patients, visitors and employees experience a consistently clean and healthy environment any time they are within hospital or clinic facilities.

Nursing Assistant (Ward Clerk) - Full Time

To collect patient information for billing and payment purposes. The Unit Secretary is responsible for performing general secretarial, receptionist, clerical, clinical duties as directed and within the scope of their practice. Assists with procedures as directed, carries out orders, instructs patients per provider instructions, documents as needed and assists with safe patient handling.

Licensed Vocational Nurse - Full Time

Works under the direction of a registered nurse and participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, within the objectives, and policies of the department and within the parameters of his/her scope of practice. Cooperates with the members of the nursing and medical staff and other hospital departments. Assists in health teaching of the patient and family as directed by the Registered Nurse. Functions as patient advocate. Provides nursing care as appropriate for condition of patient.
